The Applied Financial Planning (AFP) certification is the final step to complete the Personal Financial Planner (PFP)® designation of the Canadian Securities Institute. The AFP is not a course. It consists of two exams reviewing the previous courses (PFSA, FP 1, and FP 2). Exam 1 consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. Exam 2 is an open-ended case-study exam consisting to 8 to 10 questions.

Oliver’s AFP study materials are designed to support the Applied Financial Planning Certification Examination and do not constitute actual enrollment in the course. Students must enrol with the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in order to write the AFP exams.
