For over 30 years, Oliver’s Learning has provided core-curriculum education to financial service professionals, being the largest provider of the LLQP in Canada. 

As we move away from traditional learning tools, our focus has shifted toward building customized digital dashboards with the sole objective of assisting our clients' training and licensing challenges in the financial industry. Our clients include banks, insurance firms, brokerages, fund companies, and wealth-management companies.

CE NETWORK INC. 
In 2013, Oliver Publishing Institute acquired CE Network Inc., a leading provider of mandatory regulator-approved continuing education courses for real estate and financial service professionals. Under the Oliver Publishing Institute family, CE Network will continue to help financial professionals meet their post-licence CE requirements, providing the convenience of online learning for busy professionals.

Robert and Dale lead the team at Oliver’s Learning. They both have extensive experience successfully building and marketing companies in the financial-services market and are entrepreneurial in spirit. Together, they are working to provide innovative learning solutions that advance as quickly as the market evolves.

 

Robert Gardias

President and CEO

 

Robert has over 20 years of experience developing innovative technological solutions to support financial professionals in Canada.

In 2000, Robert pioneered the first advisor web portal offered by a mutual fund company at Invesco Trimark (formerly AIM Trimark). Among its many features, this industry-leading site offered advisors the ability to compare all Canadian mutual funds. This strategy proved to be a transformative force in the marketplace.

As Senior Vice-President of Marketing at Dynamic Funds, Robert developed the next-generation advisor portal, which emphasized advisor education. It received the 2009 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development as the #1 advisor site and continues to be considered the benchmark in the Canadian financial services industry.

Robert purchased Oliver’s Learning in 2011, where he continues to apply his expertise in financial-services education, coupled with his innovative spirit, to produce progressive learning management system solutions and content management for the financial industry.

R. Dale Oliver

Founder and Chairperson

 

Dale was a born entrepreneur, raised in a family of entrepreneurs. He started his first business at the age of 12 and at the age of 16, he made his first real estate purchase! Since then, he has founded, co-founded, or been a shareholder in close to 20 successful businesses.

Dale earned both his HBA and MBA from Western University’s prestigious Ivey Business School and upon graduation, spent some time on the faculty at Ivey. It wasn’t long before his passion for entrepreneurship prevailed and in 1983, Oliver Publishing was born.

Currently, Dale remains the chairperson of Oliver's Learning and continues to do what he is so passionate about: contributing to the growth and strategic development of the company that he founded and nurtured for many years.
